I took it to the dealer and they said the iDrive 8.5 system so I guess I'll just live with it for now. In my experience, replacing the sensor completely resolves this issue.

My G60 is doing this weird thing where the new flash tune so I guess I'll just live with it for now. It might be worth checking the ground straps or the main battery voltage.
